Being a hoarder of articles in readwise and feeling seen, I loved this piece.

Especially the opinion forming through thinking (rather than the not thinking at all) is something I completely agree with as someone doing the same thing. In fact I see that I can surface what I have written in my conversations easily than before because I have thought them through my writing.

And yes your excerpt—> final note IS beautiful!

Do you set aside specific time to think or immediately write it down when you capture the zettel?, May I ask?

Thanks. I have tried to set aside time for dealing with my notes, but that doesn’t really work for me.

What worked for me was trying to make more notes for a short period of time to see if I liked it (tiny experiment that you read about) and that acted as a way to widen the channel for ideas to flow through.

So I actually work on both notes and articles as soon as I think of them. I try not to let the inspiration disappear. for me capturing fleeting Notes is not really useful, because if I don’t process it immediately I rarely go back and do it.
